ISfIM organized a lecture on Serving Scholars: Fostering Academic Exchange: Introduction to Chinese Journal of Aeronautics on 20 February 2024 at School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The lecture was given by Ms Cai Fei, Associate Chief Editor of Chinese Journal of Aeronautics.
Lecture Abstract:
The talk is about Chinese Journal of Aeronautics (CJA), which is an open access, peer-reviewed international journal covering all aspects of aerospace engineering. It is a monthly journal by Elsevier that publishes 400 papers annually. The editorial board members of CJA are from leading institutions all over the world, and authors come from more than 60 countries. 2023 JCR impact factor of CJA is 5.7, ranking No. 2 among the Aerospace Engineering Journals indexed by Web of Science (SCI). The scope of CJA includes Fluid Mechanics and Flight Mechanics, Solid Mechanics and Vehicle Conceptual Design, Electronics and Electrical Engineering and Control, Material Engineering, and Mechanical Manufacturing. Speaker Biography:
Ms Cai Fei has served as the Associate Chief Editor of Chinese Journal of Aeronautics (CJA)for over ten years. She has received the "Excellent Chief Editor" awards in the Excellent Action Plan for Chinese Science and Technology Journals. CJA's international influence has rapidly increased in recent years. Its impact factor (5.7) ranks the second globally in 2023 Web of Science aerospace journals (SCI).
